Being to deeply asleep to wake up is only one of the causes of bed wetting but the sleep alarm will help to develop a pattern of waking to urinate during the night.

Its easy to question your own parenting skill sin this situation, but rest assured this is not the cause of the problem.

Another thing to check for children with this problem is that they are not consuming too many liquids late at night, especially before bed time.

Giving children diuretic beverages like cola and coffee should be avoided, especially close to bed time. These drinks will only make the child more likely to need the bathroom in the middle of the night, adding to the problem.

Obviously bed wetting is a very emotional issue for the children as well as the parents. The child will most likely be ashamed of their bed wetting episodes and care must be taken by the parents to show kindness patience and love. Any signs of anger or impatience at this stage will further embarrass and stress the child and will be of no help with resolving the underlying problem. Medicating the child or changing their diet to help with bed wetting should not be done without direct approval of the child’s doctor. Doing either of these things can increase the child’s stress level and might have an adhere affect on the child’s bed wetting problem.
